PURASOLV In Wipe Solvents

Traditionally, wipe solvents contain toxic and/or ozone-depleting halogenated hydrocarbons. Trichloroethylene, one of the best-known chlorinated solvents, has been reclassified as a class 2 carcinogenic (R45). Most alternative solvents are highly volatile and flammable. PURASOLV lactate esters provide excellent cleaning performance, while being both toxicologically safe and environmentally friendly.

PURASOLV ML, EL and NPL are applied in various wipe solvent applications. Most wipe solvents are formulated for the specific requirements of the application. PURASOLV offers the formulator properties such as solvent power for a broad range of contaminants, surface activity and good miscibility with other solvents as well as water.
