PURASAL HiPure P Plus and PURASAL Opti.Form PD Plus PURAC launches two new products: PURASAL HiPure P Plus and PURASAL Opti.Form PD Plus “Highest assay potassium lactate available; major improvement on flavor”PURAC introduces PURASAL HiPure P Plus and PURASAL Opti.Form PD Plus, potassium lactate based products. PURAC’s patent pending technology produces a grade of potassium lactate and Opti.Form formulation with the highest assay available in the market. This patented technology creates the cleanest flavor profile there is. No flavor enhancers are added. As a major ingredient supplier for the meat & poultry industry, PURAC is constantly developing innovative products by applying new and improved technology. PURAC assists producers in creating safe, new and improved meat and poultry products. PURASAL HiPure P and PURASAL Opti.Form, the Optimum Formulation of the potassium salt of natural L (+)-lactic acid and sodium diacetate, are already widely used in the meat and poultry industry for controlling shelf life and food safety (e.g. Listeria monocytogenes). The new products have the same effectiveness on safety and shelf life compared to the standard, as well as flavor enhancing properties and color protection of meat and poultry products.
