Applications

PROTECT-M, based on Mirenat® contains Lauric Arginate (LAE). LAE is a novel antimicrobial compound that can be used for bacteriocidal surface treatment of fresh and cooked meat against foodborne pathogens such as: E.coli, Salmonella spp. and Listeria monocytogenes.

PURAC Spray is natural L(+)-lactic acid buffered with sodium L(+)-lactate. It is used in the meat industry for the decontamination of fresh meat and carcasses.

PURASAL Lite is made of the sodium/potassium salts of natural L(+)- lactic acid. PURASAL Lite is used in (low sodium) meat products for its preservation properties. It has a very mild saline taste and is neutral by pH.

PURASAL S is the sodium salt of natural L(+)-lactic acid. PURASAL S is used in meat products for its preservation properties. It has a mild saline taste and is neutral by pH.

Opti.Form P is a formulation of potassium L-lactate and food grade sodium di-acetate. Potassium L-lactate is the potassium salt of natural L(+)-lactic acid. Opti.Form P is used in (low sodium) cooked meat products for its antimicrobial properties against pathogens such as Listeria monocytogenes.

PURASAL HiPure P Plus is the highly concentrated version of potassium L-lactate with excellent organoleptic properties. PURASAL HiPure P Plus is based on the potassium salt of natural L(+)-lactic acid. It is used in (low sodium) meat products for its preservation properties. It has minimal or no taste impact on the end product and is neutral by pH.

Opti.Form S is a formulation of sodium L-lactate and food grade sodium di-acetate. Sodium L-lactate is the sodium salt of natural L(+)-lactic acid. Opti.Form S is used in cooked meat products for its antimicrobial properties against pathogens such as Listeria monocytogenes.

Opti.Form Lite is a blend of sodium/potassium salts of natural L(+)- lactic acid and food grade sodium di-acetate. Opti.Form Lite is used in (low sodium) cooked meat products for its antimicrobial properties against pathogens such as Listeria monocytogenes.

PuraQ Verdad NV55 is a natural product based on cultured sugar and vinegar. PuraQ Verdad NV55 is designed to apply for listeria control in cured and uncured meat products.
