About us





 
Technology is at the heart of what we do. We are passionate about our technology. Our latest plant in Thailand is a great example. It contains all the latest and best proven technologies for Lactic Acid fermentation and purification at a scale of 100 kT.
 
But we don't stop there. Our production technology is being constantly improved by our innovation teams, driven by production efficiency, product quality and sustainability.
 
That said, our technology expertise doesn't stop at the production of L(+) Lactic Acid. In record time, together with our technology partner Sulzer, we developed industrial scale technology for production of D(-) lactic acid, lactide and even for PLA production.  We are also busy developing new technologies for industrial scale production of biobased succinic acid for, amongst others, bioplastics.
